At Rscope, we prioritize transparency and authors' satisfaction with our publication services. Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure clarity and fairness throughout the publication process.

Publication and Cancellation Terms

Timely Publication:

We aim to publish manuscripts within 48 hours of receiving payment for the article processing charge (APC). If, due to a technical issue, publication does not occur within one week of payment, authors have the right to cancel the publication and receive a full refund of the APC paid.

Cancellation Before Publication:

Manuscripts may only be canceled if the request is made before the manuscript is published. Once a manuscript has been published, cancellation is not permitted.

Authors must request cancellation before the manuscript appears online. After publication, the details of the corresponding author and co-authors cannot be altered, except for correcting typographical errors.

Post-Publication Withdrawal:

After publication, the cancellation policy is no longer applicable. If a manuscript needs to be withdrawn post-publication due to a breach of author warranties or other reasons, the APC will not be refunded.

In cases where the manuscript is found to have significant issues such as plagiarism before or after publication, it may be withdrawn immediately without a refund of the APC.

Agreements and Policy Exceptions:

If a formal agreement has been signed between the author and Rscope, the terms of that agreement will take precedence over this cancellation policy.

Requests for withdrawal will not be entertained if they conflict with any existing agreements.
