Submission Checklist for Rscope Collective Journals

Authors submitting their manuscripts to Rscope Collective Journals must ensure that they meet the following requirements before submission.

Checklist for File Preparation
Title Page and Manuscript Text File
  • Provide a SINGLE DOCUMENT that includes the Title Page and Manuscript Text.

  • Do not include figures in this file.

  • Includes, in order: Title page, Abstract, Text body, References, Tables, Graphs/Charts, and Figure Legends.

  • Manuscript should be double-spaced throughout.

  • Maintain a 2.5 cm margin on all four sides.

  • Pages should be numbered consecutively, starting from the title page.

1. Title Page (1st Page)
  • Category of manuscript.

  • Title of manuscript.

  • Headings in title case (not all CAPITALS).

  • First name and surname of all authors.

  • Highest academic degrees.

  • Affiliations of all authors (department, institution, city, state, country).

  • Name of corresponding author with contact address, phone number, email, and fax number.

  • Short running title (less than 40 characters).

  • Name of guarantor of submission (if different from the corresponding author) with contact details.

2. Abstract Page
  • Start on a separate page.

  • Maximum 250 words.

  • Include the full title of the manuscript followed by abstract text.

  • Provide three to five keywords.

3. Manuscript Body Text
  • Written uniformly in American English or British English.

  • Full term provided for each abbreviation at its first use.

  • Numerals from 1 to 10 spelled out.

  • Numerals at the beginning of the sentence spelled out.

  • Checked for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.

  • If citing a brand name, include the manufacturer's name and address (city and country).

4. References
  • References mentioned in the text in order of appearance.

  • Reference number placed after the author's name or before the closing punctuation mark.

  • References enclosed in square brackets (not as superscripts).

  • References listed in the References section, in order of appearance.

  • References formatted according to the journal's instructions.

5. Tables
  • Tables numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals.

  • Table number mentioned in the text in consecutive order (in parenthesis before the closing punctuation mark).

  • No repetition of data in text, tables, and graphs.

  • Full term for each abbreviation used in the table provided as a footnote.

6. Figure Legends
  • Figures mentioned in the text in consecutive order (in parenthesis before the closing punctuation mark).

  • Figure legends typed on a separate page after references.

Checklist for Figures
  • Patient’s privacy maintained in figures.

  • At least 300 pixels per inch (ppi) for color or halftone figures and 1200 ppi for line art.

  • Accepted file formats: JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PowerPoint.

After Peer Review
  • Carefully read and respond to the peer reviewer’s comments.

  • Provide point-by-point responses at the beginning of the manuscript file.

  • Revise the manuscript according to the reviewer's comments.

  • Highlight any changes made by underlining text or using colored text.

  • Submit online using the 'Submit Revision' page of the website.

  • Alternatively, submit by email to [Editorial Office Email].

After Acceptance
  • Respond to Editorial comments, if any.

  • Return the corrected page proof within 72 hours.

  • Submit all required forms requested by the Editorial Office (e.g., Author Agreement Form, Patient's Consent to Publish, Permissions to Reproduce Published Material).

  • Make the payment of Article Publication Charges upon receiving the payment information.

  • Retain the payment invoice for records.

  • Stay in contact with the Editorial team and respond to queries promptly.
